Ford Takes Home Silver in the Automotive Category at Putra Aria Brand Awards 2022 in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Ford has been voted as the people’s brand of choice in the automotive category and has taken home the silver award at the Putra Aria Brand Awards 2022.

The awards, established in 2022 by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As), aim to recognize branding and marketing excellence across all segments. The award was determined through a nationwide consumer survey conducted by the international research company IPSOS, measuring consumer preference and branding impact in the market.

Turse Zuhair, Managing Director of Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford, expressed his gratitude for the award, saying, “We are honored and humbled to have received this new people’s choice award under the ambit of the prestigious Putra Brand Awards. The survey was conducted over a period of eight weeks, receiving more than 25,000 consumer responses. The respondents rated the brands based on their familiarity, experience, impression, intent to purchase, forced-choice brand, and the brands they would recommend to friends and families.

The Putra Aria Brand Awards, endorsed by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and supported by the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA), the Media Specialists Association (MSA), and the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA), measures consumer preference growth and recognizes brands for making an impact and deepening their presence in the market.
